About North Road Books
A small, independent imprint in Upstate New York’s beautiful Finger Lakes region
North Road Books is a small, independent imprint in Upstate New York’s beautiful Finger Lakes region—where I, C. Edge, write, design, publish, and share my own books with readers who appreciate stories and tools that feel personal and real.
This started as a quiet project: a way to bring my writing and ideas into the world without the constraints of bigger publishers. Right now, it’s just me—handling everything from the words on the page to the covers, formatting, and promotion. I love the hands-on nature of it; each book is a piece of me, shaped by experiences in creativity, reflection, nature, and the ups and downs of life.
Our Catalog
- Haunting psychological horror and suspense novellas that explore the mind’s darker corners (The Mind She Eats).
- Poetry collections on love, loss, resilience, and mental health (Ink and Emotion: Love, Loss and Resilience).
- Creative journals for chaos, ink, and everyday thoughts.
- Practical outdoor logbooks under the Wilderness Chronicles series—for hunters, anglers, and anyone who wants to capture real adventures in the wild.
- Lighter touches: kids/YA stories, coloring books, and more that bring a bit of fun and wonder.
The mission is straightforward: create books that linger, help process, inspire, or simply document life’s moments—whether that’s a chilling trail that never ends or a quiet journal entry at the end of the day. I publish what moves me, hoping it moves someone else too.
In the future, I may open the door to other authors whose work aligns with that spirit, but for now, North Road Books is my little corner of the publishing world—independent, heartfelt, and growing one title at a time.
Thanks for being here. If a book calls to you, I hope you’ll take it home.
